Our Goal

The goal of our society

The goal of our society is to help the members and junior physicians to promote their medical career and improve their scientific caliber. Education , research and development in internal medicine are the core of ESIM . The regular monthly scientific meeting, the periodic workshops and the annual congress of Internal medicine have gone strength to strength bringing together internists from all over the country . In partnership with the different medical universities, medical syndicate and health government ESIM will raise the profile of internal medicine and encourage collaborative working for internists across the country . We also have a peer-reviewed online journal with quarterly issued. The journal allows free access to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the article. The journal is indexed with ISSN : 1110-7782. Starting from 2012 is being published by the international firm of Wolters Kluwer. Starting from 2014 the journal is an open access journal with Medknow, which will help in receiving significant increase in downloads and reach a broader audience within short time. The journal covers different internal medicine specialties including cardiovascular, neurology, hepatology, gastroenterology, haematology, rheumatology& clinical immunology , nephrology, geriatric, infection& nutrition. Our eminent editorial board contributes significantly for the process of peer review and quality articles, thus taking journal to the culminating points. The journal accepts review articles, original articles, case reports and letters to editor. Our office is receptive to any new ideas and our board will be happy to hear from you.

Our society started on 1981 and comprises national, regional and international members. Along this long journey, our society played a great role in upgrading the scientific level of its members
